Ko wai ahau

I am an intuitive abstract artist based in the heart of Manawatū, Aotearoa. Of Māori heritage, I whakapapa to Tauranga Moana and carry a deep connection to my ancestral roots, which guide and ground my creative journey.

My art is born from presence — a sacred dance between spirit, emotion, and the natural rhythms of life. I am deeply inspired by Papatūānuku (Mother Earth), the ever-changing seasons, and the way nature reflects back to us the cycles within ourselves. My creative process is one of exploration, healing, and embodiment. I move, I feel, I paint — allowing energy, emotion, and intuition to lead the way.

Each piece I create is a moment in time, a reflection of what is moving through me. I don’t adhere to one style or form — my work is fluid, expressive, and ever-evolving, just like the wairua (spirit) that flows through it. Art, for me, is a therapeutic vessel, a sacred space where I process, play, and return home to myself. It is an extension of my healing and a celebration of being.

Through my work, I hope to inspire others to reconnect with their own creative essence, to feel deeply, and to honour the stories held in their spirit.
